The state government has introduced Biju Kandhamal and Gajapati Yojana for poverty alleviation. The said plan is intended for Kandhamal and Gajapati districts.The District Collector receives the project list from the Executive Officer of the Drip Irrigation Corporation for the purpose of sanctioning money for the Drip Irrigation Projects (new projects or restoration of old projects).After the projects are sanctioned, the responsibility is transferred to the Panchayat Chashikamiti after implementation.
