It is a central scheme. The state government is implementing many schemes for the upliftment of the tribal and backward areas of the state.For the wide spread of irrigation in the district under the above scheme, the District Collector directs the Chief Irrigation Officer to give a list of projects. In this scheme, new irrigation projects are established as well as old projects are repaired.After approval of projects, DPR is prepared and submitted to District Collector. The work is started after the grant of money is received from the collector and finally it is handed over to the farming committee.
